I am finding that my desire to see this movie grows more and more each day. Robert Downey Jr. is the fucking man!! There...I said it.

And what's your point? Do you actually think this is a funny comment. Chances are you don't care about anyone with special needs. If you did, you would know how hurtful and offensive this is to people who don't deserve it. Enjoy your movie. Hope no one picks on you there. You know there is a fine line between free speech and decency.
haha...that was great. You know, Robert Downey Jr. is pretty amazing and has a brilliant sense of humor. Have you seen Kiss Kiss Bang Bang?
And hmshore...I think you misunderstood the joke in the movie. It's not making fun of special needs persons; rather, the movie is making fun of how the industry and its actors portray special needs persons.
But of course, everyone is free to have their own opinion!
Actually, I have an Uncle with autism. However, I am able to have a sense of humor about things that are funny and not view everything as an all out attack. No worries though.
And Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is outstanding!! I love the part early on at the Hollywood party when the hot young actress comes up to RDJ and asks him what he does (for a living). His reply was just "I'm retired, yea I invented dice as a kid." I use that line when some of the more snobbish folk here in the District ask me what I do and you'd be amazed at the responses I get.
