After two long years of renovations the National Museum of American History has finally reopened and guess who's been looking forward to this day for weeks?? First thing tomorrow morning Kool-Aid and I are planning on hitting this thing up for some sweet sweet history experiencin'. I'll probably even go to bed early tonight. Jesus Christ I'm hella lame. Adventure. Excitement. The Toast craves not these things.

what are you talking about? I LOVE museums!!!!!!! That would get me excited too!
Toast, are you kidding me? I frickin love the NMAH. What is wrong with you? Sidebar: I went to the National Portrait Gallery this summer during "hip hop week" and they had all these enormous murals of Ice-T, Outkast and Big Daddy Kane. It was surreal.
Oh sorry, because you're a "cool guy" it must not be "awesome" to go learn about "history" in our nation's "capital." Sorry, didn't realize I was such an L7 square. Get our ass to the museum, chump!
Bill, any enormous murals of the SugarHill Gang, or better yet, Bushwick Bill, 3rd Bass??
In any event, American History Museum was a good time as I knew it would be. The new renovations kinda made it seem too futuristic though. An underrated part of museums is the old, kinda dungy feel to the building itself. Basically, it shouldn't have clear stairways or shit like that. I felt like I was in one of those Apple I-Pod stores except there were no doofy hipsters all dressed in the same t-shirt trying to get me to pick up a 16 gig I-Touch. Plus, with it being a grand weekend reopening event, the place was wicked ass busy.
But seriously, it was awesome, I was just touching on how I no longer look forward as much to partying on a Friday like I do for a Museum experience.
